Olympic Training

A woman approached me in the lobby of the Golden Sun hotel in Athens and inquired if I was here for the Olympic training. Surveying the bottle of beer, ashtray, cigarettes and bowl of nuts spread out in front of me, I was confused and flattered that my physique could be mistaken for that of a competitive athlete. “No,” I responded, at which point she followed my gaze to the harmful substances laid out in front of me, apologized and left.
